The Amazon Effect has changed the way retail is viewed.They have made products more
available for the consumers.Now consumers can order a product and have the option of
next day delivery. This convenience has surpassed most competitors. Not only does it
provide fast delivery, but Amazon also has partners with various vendors that offer a
product variant. With this convenience comes with a price difference in some items.
Consumers are willing to pay more for this benefit.
I feel the responsibility of unethical practices fail mainly on the business but as the
consumers we can hold them accountable. We hold the buyer power. Businesses face the
fact that they can becancelled” or boycotted by not upholding such standards. The
consumerism has become increasingly more eco-friendly.Businesses are changing the
way they produce products or provide services. They are reducing their carbon footprints.
