Topic from Project Three Milestone: The topic I chose is Police Striking Adults. Throughout the
years, there has been many instances of police brutality that have led to much controversy
towards individuals views on the police. Hence the reason why I decided to choose this topic, as
I want to discover if there is a connection between an individuals race and instances involving
the police striking adults.
Describe the from your interpretation of the data for a general audience. Your key findings
response should be about 2 to 4 sentences. Include the following in your response:
•Easy-to-understand statistical values (e.g., percentages)
The key findings from my interpretation of the data, is that white individuals are the
most likely out of the races to condone and agree with a policeman striking an adult
male citizen. Out of the 216 white participants, 75% of those agreed, whereas of the 49
black participants 35% agreed and of the 36 participants from other races, 28% agreed.
This was a big deviation from what was expected, as all participants, no matter the race,
were expected to all have a 63% agreement with this.
