If I were having a conversation with a computer that I believed to be a
human, I do not think the computer would be intelligent. I feel it’s
impossible for the computer to be personable when engaging. The
computer does not have emotions so it’s impossible for it to feel what
I’m saying enough to relate to it. However, I’m sure we can strike up a
good conversation about cooking tips and even downloading.
The similarities of human thinking and computers in memory function
is that they can converse about certain topics that makes a
conversation with a human and a computer somewhat effective.
However, they become different because the computer’s personality
is not consistent and it’s inability to deal with new topics where the
human has the ability to converse on many topics and the ability to
switch to fresh topics which shows the difference between the two.
I do not think it’s possible for computers to ever think or be as
intelligent as humans because it naturally does not have the ability to
have a strong personality to have a meaningful conversation about
many different things. However, the more data that is placed within a
computer the more conversations one can have.
The concept of human intelligence applies greatly to self care. It is the
self awareness and the ability to have emotions that can signal what’s
lacking so that we may be able to implement self care into our daily
lives to avoid getting burned out, to assist us in staying engaged in
our careers and our family lives.
