For Project Three Milestone, the job I chose is CDOC Psychologist Candidate.
Job Roles and Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the job are to work under a licensed psychologist until I obtain my
full license. My role in the workplace would be to assess the mental health needs of inmates, run
individual and group therapy sessions, provide the other staff with training on how to handle an
inmate who is having a mental health crisis, and provide direct care to an inmate who is in a
psychological crisis or emergency.
