I believe earning this degree will help me advance my career further. I
specialize in grantmaking, arts & culture, education, and scholarship. I hope that
this degree opens many doors for me and helps me advance both financially and
mentally.
There are ten steps that must be used in order to best address the concerns of the
County Commissioner through a plan of strategic action. Each of these steps
contain various objectives and involve different stakeholders.
1. Initiate and agree on a strategic planning process
2. Identify organizational mandates
3. Clarify organizational mission and values
4. Assess the external and internal environments to identify strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
5. Identify the strategic issues facing the organization
6. Formulate strategies to manage the issues
