My aptitude to be a successful entrepreneur is below average, according to
self-assessment surveys. In every category of the 'Entrepreneurial potential self-assessment,' my
scores were lower than the average of entrepreneurs. Scoring below average in categories such as
motivation, aptitude, and attitude suggests that I may struggle to be a competent entrepreneur.
Power/control appeal and the need for challenges/ambition are two major areas where I scored
below average. Being an entrepreneur revolves primarily around the concept of being a leader
and one's own boss. Without these personality traits, it may be difficult to be successful in an
entrepreneurial role. According to 'The Entrepreneur Quiz,' I received a grade of 70 out of 100.
This indicates that my potential to succeed in my own firm is debatable. Some of my qualities
may pose challenges for me to start my own firm.
According to Jerry Kaplan, the five most important skills for an entrepreneur are
leadership, communication, decision-making, teamwork, and the ability to telescope (Kaplan,
2021). Personally, I only possess a few of these characteristics in sufficient quantity to be a
business owner. As a somewhat anxious person, I find it difficult to be a leader and make
decisions that affect a large group of people. When it is critical, I can try to take charge, but only
for a short time. I am an eloquent speaker as an organizational leader. I have a strong ability to
convey my message while remaining in discussion. Nonetheless, it's going to be impossible for
me to conduct my personal firm and be good in the process without obtaining all of these
capabilities.
