What was your strategy for choosing incremental or
discontinuous innovation in Milestone One?
My strategy for choosing incremental innovation, were
primarily based on the reasons why I considered that
discontinuous innovation would not work and it would
be too much of a risk. I thought if the study case
organization would completely change their model,
their customers might be shocked of the abrupt
change. Also, it seemed very risky and discontinuous
innovation would require a certain company culture
and organization within, that the company does not
possess. It would have been a huge risk for the
organization to opt for discontinuous innovation, based
on my analysis. I chose the path that seemed more
viable in contrast with what the study case "rm has to
o#er.
What were your reasons for selecting the processes for
managing innovation you used in Milestone Two?
The reason I chose the processes for managing
innovation in Milestone Two was because the Agile
process allows for the model to reach customers in a
much faster manner and it saves time, while delivering
a product that is wanted by clients/
How do your recommendations for the organization
structure promote a climate for innovation in your
project?
My recommendations for the organization structure
promote a climate for innovation because they
encourage the trial-and-error approach, and gives the
employees the ability to not be afraid to give their
feedback and to say their opinion. It is important to
encourage innovative behavior and let employees that
experience conversation and deal with customers, a
say.
