Wellness, has been enhanced; because each lens provides a different
perspective. My topic was: mental, emotional and social health; which
plays a huge role in maintaining wellness. Social science, helped me
understand how relationships are established and how culture and
society impacts mental health. How someone is brought up and the
resources they have around them, impacts their mental and how they
go about obtaining wellness. Natural sciences, helped me learn about
what goes on in the world and technology uses pertaining mental
health. Places like care centers and institutions, have different
information on how they handle mental health; along with the
machines they use to create health assets/medicine. The history lens,
helped me see different timelines and dates; that confirmed events in
mental health. This lens was very important, because it let me review
events that were important during that time and current day outcomes
that have affected my topic. Humanities, helped me by understanding
someone's culture and how it helps with well-being and mental health. I
stated it a little in the social science section, but how you grow up and
your surroundings is very critical to mental health. Culture is a way of
life, and in mental health; you want your way of life to be positive and
who you surround yourself with to be helpful. Your beginnings and
what you go through, impact mental and establish culture. Potential
implications of current discussions, are that humankind either
embraces wellness or they have a tough time with it. For the future, you
would like to see better resources for enhancing mental health
conditions and overall wellness. Resources such as: new care centers,
updated mental info., and technology all can help be implications on
current ways to uplift wellness for humankind. I believe the critical
analysis skills I learned, will personally help me develop techniques for
myself in mental health. I'm already one who applies and thinks mental
health is critical in everyday life and believes in wellness. I think I will
take techniques like: clearing my mind, meditating and eating better to
help me achieve wellness. Professionally, I will take these skills and
apply them to my job: before, during and after. When you apply a
positive attitude to a job, it increases your mood and train of thought.
Shifts can be 5-14 hours, and if your mentality is overworked; it will
show through your actions. These skills, can help you pace yourself and
put together a routine that will help your mental overall and establish
better habits. This is my analysis on wellness and critical skills.
