Humanities play a central role in my career in the most simple but
impactful way; See, to have an understanding of the humanities is to
have an understanding of different people, different cultures, and
different perspectives. In my line of work, it is extremely important
to posses knowledge in these areas because we rely heavily on
teamwork and communication.
The concepts are very simple and easy to understand, but in the
implementation of these concepts lies the challenge.
Through the knowledge of the values that different sub-cultures
possess and the problem-solving skills that each person brings to the
table, a team is able to work more cohesively in the accomplishment
of tasks.
