By informing the healthcare workers about, cultural values and what
has an impact on health and wellness. The information supplied to
family and friends is then used by patients to do a detailed
assessment of their health state. Culture has an impact on how well a
person understands their health, These are some small steps to take
towards mapping out cultural diversity.
1. Gender identities - moving beyond the binary distinction of
gender. The sex that was assigned to men and women at birth
may or may not match. To avoid reinforcing language that is
gender-binary.
2. Closing the generational divide entails more than just
refraining from ageism. putting measures in place to promote
improved interaction and cooperative behavior between
individuals of all ages.
3. Accessibility in the workplace for people with disabilities. we
are supplying assistance tools and software.
a 4. Proper HIPPA training
a 5. Annual training for workplace safety
a 6. Annual training for cultural diversity
The question then becomes how can we implement training to ensure
that cultural diversity will be taken into account. I believe that
training is necessary for virtually anything, however, training time
must be taken into account. When interviewing employees, I'm sure it
would be beneficial to go over the aforementioned definitions. All
employees should receive employee handbooks that describe the
importance of cultural diversity. It should also include the Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission. Employers are not permitted
to treat employees unfairly for any reason. As a result, you will be
acknowledged as an equal opportunity employer by the workers. The
employee will already be of the mindset that everyone is deserving of
respect.
