SPT 307 Summary Notes on Final Journal

I will find that studying sports law will be very helpful as I work to advance in the sports

business and my goal of becoming an agent. I will be able to comprehend my client's rights

thanks to sports law. This training will also enable me to better represent my clients in contract

negotiations and pay them the money they are due, as opposed to doing it through their club or a

sponsorship/endorsement. I gained a lot of knowledge about the law that will be useful in my

own life as well as the lives and careers of my clients. The conversations and exercises I've

participated in over the last eight weeks have helped me better understand law and how crucial it

is to the sports sector. I loved having conversations with my classmates. Even though we were

required to write on the same case/discussion each week, I appreciated how we all had unique

perspectives that were totally relevant to the topics we were studying. I also like how this course

taught me how to do legal case study and produce a legal brief. Even though I still need to

practice writing legal briefs, I've come a long way from the beginning of the course. Throughout

the past eight weeks, the lecturer has been quite helpful and has addressed any questions I may

have had about this subject. While a sports agent, I will continue to apply sports law as I

negotiate contracts and handle my clients' everyday business.
