While all roles within the criminal justice system work together to function properly,
community outreach coordinators play a very important part in all aspects of the criminal justice
system. The community outreach coordinators are the main line of connection between the
public and law enforcement officials. Their focus is to communicate systemic issues within
different communities to seek education and intervention within these communities. Community
coordinators can communicate information between law enforcement and the community many
different ways and some examples of this are public speaking engagements, prevention, and
intervention programs as well as youth outreach programs.
Public speaking engagements include many different approaches, and one would be
