Feedback from within the company holds workers accountable for
fulfilling performance objectives and goals, taking appropriate action
in the event of poor performance, and providing constructive
feedback to help employees improve. I would obtain feedback from
the digital marketing and sales team. The information from these
sources within the company will help create content that fits
customers' needs and allow them to air their views through social
media. Additionally, I would request feedback from the company's
employees since this creates recognition and responsibility. Feedback
from the employees will be used to instill a sense of accomplishment,
control, and competency in workers. a I will use the information to
review the accuracy, adequacy of work behaviors, and correctness.
Furthermore, I can ask supervisors for feedback. This feedback lets
you understand how well your team members are focused on
completing goals and objectives. This feedback helps better
understand the team's strengths and weaknesses, which will help
motivate and build for the company's ultimate functioning.
Strategies for seeking and addressing feedback from customers
Customer feedback is crucial in any business as it helps know what
customers think about a product or service. A customer feedback
strategy involves gathering the feedback and taking action on the
feedback given. When designing a customer feedback system,
limiting the scope to only the service quality angle is essential. The
strategy includes asking for customer feedback to understand overall
trends in customer satisfaction over time. Also, I would use an
electronic process of collecting feedback since it provides for
response acknowledgment, construction of follow-up systems,
answers to questions from customer feedback, and customer tracking
(Milner & Furnham, 2017). Ways to measure customer satisfaction
trends include social media monitoring and the customer satisfaction
score. After receiving customer feedback, I would offer them
responses by acknowledging the genuine problems and thanking
them for trusting the company with the problem. This strategy shows
respect for customers' opinions, which aids in building a positive
relationship with the customers. The strategy also includes analyzing
the feedback to identify the recurring problems with my product or
service. For instance, if the problem were with the sales department, I
would review the team's performance and offer training to remedy
the recurring problems.
Internal communication pathways to handle internal and external
consumer feedback
I would employ shared electronic sources and computer-mediated
exchanges as internal communication channels to answer input from
internal and external clients. Email use remains the most digital
communication medium in today's organizations since it is an easy
and quick way of communicating. I will also utilize the employee
Intranet, which allows for sharing knowledge across departments, and
easily accessible and updated information. The Intranet enables
individuals to voice their thoughts. Additionally, I would utilize other
methods such as face-to-face meetings, formal presentations, notice
boards, and video conferencing. The characteristic of an excellent
internal communication channel includes timely, comprehensible,
measurable, accuracy, two-way, and inclusive (Uysal, 2020). These
channels will aim to increase employee engagement since they
become more active in their tasks assigned by supervisors.
