Innovative Cybersecurity Application by Apple Inc.
The new business idea involves an innovative cybersecurity application for the Apple
Inc. organization. In the current times when cybersecurity risks and threats are on the rise, the
new app will play an instrumental role in increasing the level of security for Apple Inc.’s laptops
and smartphones. The objective of designing the new offering is to increase the attractiveness of
the electronic products of Apple Inc. since customers will be offered an additional layer of
security in the cyber domain, which could decrease their online vulnerability. The product has
been designed by taking into consideration the existing landscape where technology play an
instrumental role, and cybersecurity risks are on the rise (Kuner et al., 2017).
Goals
The ultimate goals and objectives of the project are to introduce a new and innovative
product in the North American market that will give the business entity an edge over its
competitors and rivals. The specific new product that has been chosen is aligned with the core
competencies of the business. This is because it combines innovation as well as value for
customers. The goal of the business is to leverage advanced technology so that customers can be
offered better safety and value while using Apple laptops and smartphones. The newly designed
cybersecurity software will ensure that online hackers or cybercriminals are not able to
compromise the cybersecurity framework of their Apple gadgets, and their exposure to their
malicious intentions and activities can be restricted to a considerable extent (Apple Inc Annual
Report, 2021).
