Tesla supports DEI and has a DEI Impact Report posted to their site which can

60 percent of Tesla’s U.S. workforce is made up Black, African American,
Hispanic, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Native Hawaiian
and Alaska Native so building a diverse team would not be an issue (Tesla,
2020). i I would approach the leadership team which is also a diverse group and
ask them to nominate who they think would best contribute to the NPD project.
Tesla unsurprisingly focuses highly on CSR. i Their obvious actions to reduce
emissions from automobiles proves that the company focuses on the
environment. i Tesla has a training program in place that specifically is aimed at
staff development (asktraders.com, 2022). i Tesla works to develop suppliers in
less developed areas but the company has invested into those communities to
ensure a positive work experience and fairness (asktraders.com, 2022).
If Tesla were to design a hydrogen engine as an additional option to power their
vehicles, they would then provide a completely green vehicle as the only
substance emitted from the exhaust is clean water. i This falls in line with their
CSR program and will provide their diverse team to design a new engine
platform.
