I think that there are a lot of government regulations out there but I
do believe that they are created with good intentions. I think that
without government regulations, businesses would take advantage of
their workers and the environment. There are popular companies
that sell products in the USA but they are created using child labor in
other counties. Hershey is one of the more well know companies
that still uses child labor today. Back in 2001, the companies Mars,
Nestle, and Hershey, announced they would start efforts to end child
labor in their businesses, a effort that has still not been
accomplished. I truly believe that if the United states did not have
regulations in place, then this kind of thing would be happening
regularly. I think that the government should make more regulations
against companies that are using child labor in other countries to sell
into ours.
