The organizational chart that has been presented focuses on the Senior Management Group of a
retail company.
• For preparing the organizational chart of the business entity, the specific type of data that
was collected included the leadership of the organization, the chief functions of the
business as well as the leaders that are responsible for heading specific business functions.
The hierarchy and the reporting structure that is adopted within the business entity also

alignment in the allocation of roles and responsibilities. The organizational structure
directly impacts the workflow and work environment (Gaspary, 2020).
• While developing an organizational chart, it is essential to get an insight into the
leadership of the concern, i.e., the person who is responsible for providing foresight and
direction to a company. Additionally, an insight into group positions and roles is vital to
understand how diverse functions and departments work together to attain organizational
goals and objectives.
• The main types of data sources that were used to respond to the questions included an
annual report of the company, the official website of the business, which gives an insight
into the management team and the publications of the company that give an insight into its
organizational positions.
