A Robo-analyst/advisor gathers information from clients about their financials and
goals through an online survey and then uses the data found to offer advice or to invest in
client assets. “The best robo-advisors offer easy account set up, robust goal planning,
account services, and portfolio management” (Frankenfield, 2022)
After reading the case study, I do believe Amazon would benefit from this new
technology. There is continuous increase competition from manufacturers, and brands
attempting to gain exclusive rights from their distributors, which is making this type of
marketplace harder to achieve. With this new technology, if the seller is willing to invest
in their brand, Amazon is building new features to help improve not only the shopper’s
experience but also the seller’s experience.
