Essay: Team Levels Assignment NOTES
In Chapter 6, the Student Work Text speaks of the Five Levels of TEAM (where adults
can engage with students in their church). Of the Five Levels (social, supply,
supplication, support, and shepherd), is there 1 you are currently doing and/or would like
to do? Once you identify 1 of the Five Levels, write which one you identify with and
provide suggestions how you have done, are currently doing, or could do to fulfill this
role in the lives of adolescents.
FIVE LEVELS OF TEAM
* Social Team People willing to open up and talk to students.
SUPPLY TEAM People willing to share their resources for students.
SUPPLICATION TEAM People willing to pray for students.
*SUPPORT TEAM People willing and competent to perform tasks in student ministry. –
I help the youth pastor plan and set up events, I pick kids up and drop off, I purchase snacks and
meals that teens will like, make it fun and exciting, plan games, activities and events that teens
will have fun and engage with each other.
Being a part of student ministry as an adult leader and parent, shows students that there are
other people who care about them. There are other adults who pray for them, encourage them. I
provide support to the students, parents and the student ministry director.
SHEPHERD TEAM People willing and competent at developing nurturing relationships with
students.
