RESEARCH PAPER: PLANNING SSIGNMENT A INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
In this course, you are required to develop a research paper that argues a position (or thesis) for
or against a specific aspect of biblical theology. Your thesis must be related to the practice and
purpose of biblical theology for the modern church and the believer. This assignment will
contribute to the development of your thesis, your ability to argue your thesis, and the planning
of your Research Paper: Final Paper Assignment that will be due later in the course.
INSTRUCTIONS
This assignment is represented three parts. You will (1) develop a thesis statement, (2) in
demonstrate the flow and support of your argument by writing a detailed outline of your paper,
and (3) include an updated and expanded Bibliography page that includes a minimum of 10
academic sources. The specific instructions for each part can be found under the appropriate
