Thank you for your discussion board post. I enjoyed reading it and felt that you made
several great observations! You brought up a very good point about a leader living
above reproach. I also agree that this is an indispensable character trait for any spiritual
leader. To summarize what you said, living above reproach means that your walking and
talking are in-step with one another. I also enjoyed reading your insight into Love as a
characteristic of the leader/teacher. You are correct, without love, the other
characteristics of leadership won’t be able to produce fruit. I mentioned in another
thread that I believe this is why Paul lists love as the first of the fruit of the sprit he lists
in Galatians 5:22-23.[1]
