Event Promotion Strategy
Like events in the corporate and social setting, ministry events need promotion to
reach the targeted audience. The approach is to ensure that every church stakeholder
understands the event planning and such critical elements as the focus, scope, and schedule,
to mention a few.1 The event will have ordinary promotion and marketing strategies like prior
youth events, including awareness creation, anticipation, and promotion actions.
Awareness creation is the fundamental approach in promoting the event as it will
create attention for all individuals. Different approaches are feasible in reinforcing awareness
regarding the youth event, including usual church posters and announcements and posting on
social media platforms. The awareness creation should encompass all critical aspects
regarding the event, including the aim and schedule. Considering the contemporary
technology-reliant society, using the church website and other social media platforms will be
primary.2 Church members, regardless of age, access church online handles to check for
updates and get other messages. Through comprehensive publicization, the church youths
will have the information and the motivation to invite their friends to the event. Therefore,
effective awareness creation will mark the initial move to promote the youth event.
Anticipation is the other approach to promoting the youth event as it will create the
mental image of the need of the event. The event organizers will create the event anticipation
by sharing the key issues and exploring why every youth needs to attend. Through a value
proposition, anticipation is apparent, prompts the target audience to attend, and triggers
people to support the event differently.3 Therefore, anticipation is vital in reinforcing
attendance at the youth event.

Lastly, the promotion will be the last approach to marketing the event and involve
steering interested people to become attendees. The last-minute approach is critical because it
acts as a remembrance note and always triggers individuals aware of the event to attend.4
Such approaches as posting the preparation on social media and engaging interested
individuals personally will be practical for this event. The management team will post
pictures of the church with the event theme color and other facilities. They will also text the
interested persons through their emails to remind them regarding the event, two days before
the actual event. Overall, with effective awareness creation, anticipation, and action
strategies, the event will easily attain its goals.
Evaluation and Assessment Model
The event evaluation relies on achieving the set goals, including identifying the
number of attendees, evaluating the topic coverage, and analyzing the attendees' feedback. I
expect a minimum of 200 attendees, specifically the youth, and I expect to cover the
friendship entirely as per Christian values peacefully. Achieving these tenets will imply
project success and vice versa. I will provide forms for the attendees to fill, specifically
highlighting their experience in the event and what they have learned. I will then compare
how the attendees think they have benefitted or failed to benefit from the event with the
specific goals to define the project's success. Overall, a comparative model that weights the
goals and the outcome will help evaluate the project's success.
Method for Addressing and Evaluating Spiritual Formation
Any Christian-based event should have a definite approach to assess the level of spiritual
formation and effectively help individuals grow spiritually. In this event, the attendees will

fill a questionnaire with simple questions concerning faith matters, including an individual’s
definition of salvation and the areas they need to improve in their spiritual life. The aspect of
using technology as a tool to spur spiritual awakening and transformation by acquiring and
sharing biblical information will be among the questionnaire elements.5 Therefore, with such
definite approaches, I will have the information regarding the attendees' understanding of the
level of spiritual formation.
