1. What are the various ways the gospel message is perceived in our culture?
There are several ways in which people perceive the gospel in American culture. Some
question its existence and its implications on humans, while some see it as the foundation for
their being. Naturalists believe that the gospel is non-existent, and the message that it
contains. Others perceive it as intolerant and selective, especially in John 14:6, where Jesus
says, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through
me.”
2. What are some specific moral reasons people may reject the gospel message?
There are several moral reasons that people may reject the gospel. Some of these reasons
include sexuality i.e., gay, lesbian, transgender, marital status. Other reasons include when
people get exposed to oppression and slavery, and they fail to see God helping them through,
