Parables are practical teaching tools to help people grasp essential
concepts. For example, the scripture you used, Mark 12:41-44, is a
fantastic example of Jesus' teachings using a unique setting and visual
aid. The parable example you used about strong organizational leadership
traits versus toxic leadership traits reminds me of this scripture that talks
about being an example to everyone around you. "Let no man despise thy
youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation,
in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity" (1 Timothy 4:12).-
Visual aid and having access to interactive learning are great ways to
encourage students to remain interested in a topic (Bernstein et al.,
2020). Gistituati et al. (2019) found that students' speaking skills
improved with visual aid. I pay more attention in class when other
learning instruments are present besides a textbook. Reading is fun, but
activities tend to help me recall information better.
