Food For Thought: Discussion 1
Teaching is a big responsibility and one we should not take lightly. We are
teaching or modeling often throughout life as we raise children, work with
others at our jobs, interact with family, lead ministries or organizations,
and the like. Teaching in a classroom setting takes healthy modeling of
behavior, grace and accountability, patience, flexibility, wisdom, and the
list continues. It is so important during this time of learning how to teach
others, that you reflect on how God is shaping you individually during your
time of education. What is He trying to show you, how is He trying to gift
you? God is equipping each of you throughout your education and life
experiences. Use this when working with others and when teaching.
1stPeter 4:10 (ESV), “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one
another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” How will you use the
gifts God has given youoris equipping you with to serve others?
