APA Treasure Hunt
On the professional title page, it has guidelines to follow that is set by organizations and
publishers for the format and design. It is used for formal publications and reports. It contains
the title and the author’s work along with the date and affiliation of the work. It contains on
authors affiliation where the research was conducted at. On the author note is also optional will
includes like details of conflicts of interest. On the running head is a shortened title and is all in
caps. The design will be more formal and includes more additional elements like logos and
formatting guidelines.
The student title page is used for academic assignments in schools. On the title page you
will have on it is the title of the paper. You will have the course name along with courses
number, the instructor’s name, and the date when the assignment is due. The running head is
not required unless it is specified by the instructor. For the student title page in APA format the
key elements are all centered and double space. On the paper of the title page, you will have
the title of the paper, the author’s name, Institutional affiliation, course number and name,
instructor’s name, due date, and page number (7th Publication Manual, p.30).
Abstract Details
Abstract is a brief comprehensive summary of larger of piece of work for a research
paper. The information for abstract that includes for purpose, methods, results, conclusions, and
keywords in the paper. It is self-contained and understandable on its own and able to require
without reading the full paper. Sometimes the abstract is not required unless your instructor or
the institution requires it.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the act of presenting the words, ideas, or images of another as your own; it
denies authors or creators of content the credit they are due. Self-Plagiarism is the presentation
of your own previously published work as original; like plagiarism, self-plagiarism is unethical
(7th

The Liberty Way
Academic dishonesty involves a student’s attempt to improve their or another student
academic standing through dishonest means. It means when a student modifies or make any
adjustments of any students work. Plagiarism is a failure to give attribution to the words, ideas,
images, or information of others on papers and project. That means of submitting any kind of
someone’s own work instead of their own work. Falsification is misrepresentation of the truth to
improve academic standing. It’s when a student can fabrication and altering a document or
grade that can provides a false information to gain a grade or attendance/ participation.
Formatting Examples
Phase Headings
Level 1 heading is centered, bold, and title case heading. Level 2 heading is flush left, bold,
title case heading. Level 3 heading is flush left, bold italic, title case heading. Level 4 heading is
indented, bold, title case heading, ending with a period. Level 5 heading is indented, bold italic,
title case heading, ending with a period (7th Publication Manual p.48-49). Headings will help the
readers to understand and navigate of the written material and information. Level 1 is the text
begins as new paragraph that is centered, bold, title case heading. Level 2 when a text begins as
a new paragraph that is flush left, bold, title case heading. Level 3 is when a text begins as a new
paragraph that is flush left, bold italic, title case heading (7th Publication Manual p.47-48).
Organization as the Author
When citing a source authored by an organization in APA style, the first citation should include
the full name of the organization followed by the year of publication. (American Psychological
[APA}, 2020, p.262-263) To write a reference for a source that has an organization as the author
in APA style, you simply list the full name of the organization as the author. American

Religious Works
To write a reference for a religious source such as the Bible, the Publication Manual of the
American Psychological Association (APA 7th edition) provides specific guidelines. Although
religious work like the Bible is not typically included in the reference list, it is important to know
how to cite them in-text properly. When citing a religious text such as the Bible in-text, you
should include book, chapter, verse, and version used ((7th Publication Manual p.179). For God
