What statistic surprised you most?
I think the number of marriages surprised me because I knew a lot of people were married
but I never put together that there would be 2 billion marriages currently which means 4 billion
people are married.
What are your thoughts on the video you watched?
I think the video was super funny and accurate because when I'm talking to my friends the
girls will all want to know what's going on and comfort me, but the guys will just kind of
observe and find out just by the way I'm acting... However, when I'm hanging with Ella (my
closest female friend), and she has something going on she wants to tell me everything and I
have no clue what to say half the time! This also applies to my family, when my sister is hurt,
she wants to spill everything out, and when I'm upset my mom wants to know everything and I
don’t want to tell her anything.
What difference between men and women was new to you?
I never really thought about the fact that our brains are the way the video said until he said
it then I was like “Oh yeah I can sit there for an hour thinking about absolutely nothing!” which
is really funny because I didn’t put it together that we men had a nothing box. I also realized
women's brains are definitely jumbled because when I hang with Ella or my sister everything,
they say is somehow connected to something completely different.
What do you need to work on in order to prepare to be a good spouse down the road?
I think I need to work on being more open to sharing what is going on in my life with
those close to me because that would help in a marriage situation. I also need to pay attention to
how I act around certain women because if I like Ella, but I follow another friend Jullian
around then Ella could think I like Jullian more than I like her therefore would ruin my
chance of asking Ella out in the future. This would also apply when I'm married for
example if I'm spending time with other women more than I am with my wife or at least
not having my wife present that could cause difficulties in our relationship.
