talks about how these programs are available but my not be helping homelessness. There is not
a lot of evidence of housing programs and interventions being useful to the homelessness
community. This article will be able to give me a viewpoint of how effective programs needs to
be in order for it actually help homelessness.

end homelessness. There is a evidence based paradigm that was created in 1992. If used
effectively it can help end homelessness across America. This author includes the rise of
homeless industry of shelters and transitional housing programs and how they are different than
HF. HF focuses on approaching challenged individuals with useful demands for their situations
through counseling and support. This solution is based on consumer principles and choice that
reduces the access of independent housing in the community.

American community in comparison to the U.S. population. There has been a lot of presentation
of how the healthcare industry has affected homelessness. This article goes over social and
behavioral factors that can address the relationship of race and homelessness in America. The
author points out the differences between racial subgroups of homelessness, health risks and
service outcomes. This article will help me narrow down the determining factors of
homelessness. This article also gives data on the question does race affect homelessness? And if
so, is the African American populations majority apart of the homeless population?

public health and social societies. The view of this author can define homelessness as a absence
of permanent accommodation. The solutions the author gives is that there are ways out of
homelessness through permanent maintenance of social contexts that can prevent

number of people still homeless. This articles gives a view of before and after of affects of
homelessness on communities, society and the economy.

There have been anti-homeless spikes in London. These spikes are when there are metal studs
that are implanted at the ground level to prevent or discourage people of sleeping in “restricted
areas” (Petty, 2016). This author shows how others places around are approaching
homelessness. Some are taking more social and proactive approaches and others are taking
drastic approaches like London.

This article is about the culture of homeless. The author tracks the origins of the root of
homelessness. This is done by tracking down homeless people overtime. Ravenhill feels this
research is needed to shed light and create positive solutions to end this issue. The authors
research included interviews of 150 and people who were or is homeless. Throughout this article
Ravenhill talks about the structural, behavioral, and biographical factors that leads to
homelessness.

homelessness. The article includes the resources available to help those in need with housing
and support to prevent homelessness. The authors talks about homeless service system that is
combined of four sections that focus on specific programs. One program is emergency shelter,
transitional housing, short term rental subsidies and permanent supportive housing. This articles

article shows how different frameworks can work hand in hand to create a global solution of the
ending of homelessness.
