Process philosophy has no absolute answer, things are always in constant change.
Process philosophy is a system of beliefs that states that nothing is fixed, everything is
determined by the environment, that all movements are progressive and that everything
has a genetic origin, in short Marxism, Darwinism, pragmatism and Freudianism all
together in harmony. Compared to biblical philosophy, process philosophy is far from
what is considered the complete truth, because the truth is one and only and
unchangeable. The majority of people today have abandoned the supernatural and they
have over fashioned the naturalism, which has rooted many intellectual consequences in
society today. God’s word and commandments have been forgotten, and one of them is
His philosophy on civil rights.
“On Friday, June 26th, the Supreme Court of the United States announced its
ruling in Obergefell v. Hodges, holding that the Fourteenth Amendment of the United
States Constitution guarantees the recognition and provision of same-sex
marriage”(Vogue). This is one of most controversial topics of today. On the surface, it
seems like a lot of fun for people to have complete freedom over their own desire of
hearts and flesh; however, beneath the surface and according to God’s truth, it is a sin. In
today’s society, homosexual marriage is legal, abortion is protected, and the divorce rate
is flying up the chart every second. Sexual activity is more common than eating food.
These things have sadly started to sound normal and familiar to the younger generations.
Things get worse when these younger generations already support these new
trends. They are supporting them by following countless social media influencers, going
on protests and strikes, and rebelling against older generations’ teachings. It is even more
dangerous when the majority of these young people follow the trend of what is popular
without their own stated opinions or thoughts. Today, all the popular social media apps
like Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook are filled with information of homosexuality,
encouragements of abortion, and premarital sexual activities. These young people are
slowly falling into the process philosophies that have already impacted the younger
people’s worldviews in a shocking way.
It is extremely daring for the younger generation to support what they think is
right but the truth is many of these cause self-defeating actions. Yet they continued
because all movements are progressive according to process philosophy. As an example,
people tend to push for diversity, yet there is never a way to satisfy everyone. In many
TV shows the strong female lead is overshadowed by the fact that the character is white
and straight. When black LGBT characters are added, people would complain of not
having otherkin. If they are added then the audiences complain about pandering claiming
that studio does not care but is just trying to earn more money. All these things connect to
process philosophy because they strongly impacted all the people that grew up without
the strong absolute truth.
These things are the opposite of what God says, such as people should treat others
the way they want to be treated. This means that people need to have respect for other
people but at the same time, they need to be honest with them and tell them what the truth
is. The truth is that people are doing what they think is right but it is actually the opposite
from what is morally correct. Sin’s penalty is death and lying to people to please them is
considered a sin. Being nice to people now is helping them to go to hell but being what
they call a little mean, might save them and help them go to heaven. As Zechariah 8:16
stated “These are the things that you shall do: Speak the truth to one another; render in
your gates judgments that are true and make for peace”.
These process philosophies have tremendously impacted civil rights of the society
in a dangerous way. These movements that the people are taking action against are
progressive, which means they think what they are doing is for the better but it really is
leading to destruction. People are miserable and lost, it is Christians’ responsibility to
spread the Word of God and to do their part in the society and help others to build a
secure and truthful, worldview.
