Mid-Term Reflection Assignment
What are you learning about yourself?
Through my internship experience, I discovered that I thrive in a well-organized and
functional environment. I also realized that I strongly desire independence and do not wish to be
employed by someone else for the rest of my career. Despite encountering challenges, I have
learned to persevere and solve problems as they arise. Comparing my current situation to my
experience in retail, I have grown in many ways. I have no tolerance for those who complain
about their work or treatment, and I have found that a simple greeting and inquiry about
someone's day can significantly affect their mood. This internship has shown me that my career
is more than just a job; it is a ministry where I can share the love of Jesus Christ with others. I
can encourage others to do the same by believing in Him. “But I have raised you up for this very
purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the
earth.” (Exodus 9:16 NIV).
What has prepared you for this internship in relation to your area of study?
My experience with various styles and fashion trends has equipped me well for my
upcoming internship in my field of study. I understand that some customers know what they
want, while others may need help deciding. Additionally, some are still determining their style
but still want to look and feel good. My experience has taught me to discern what works and
what doesn't. I understand that customers value my input and that I need to be knowledgeable
and confident when advising them on potential purchases.
Furthermore, I have learned that teamwork is essential in this industry, and I must be proactive
and observant of my surroundings. I understand that taking the initiative and being able to handle
any situation that arises is crucial in this line of work.

What do you still need to work on to complete this internship successfully?
To complete my internship, I must focus on completing the required hours. This has
proven more challenging than initially anticipated, as I must balance my daily schedule with the
150-hour internship requirement. Despite these obstacles, I am committed to relying on my faith
to guide me toward success. I firmly believe that with Jesus Christ by my side, I can overcome
any difficulties that may arise. One area that I need to improve upon is time management. Upon
careful observation, I have realized that juggling multiple tasks at once can lead to an incomplete
outcome. Therefore, I have developed a daily checklist and diligently followed through to
combat this issue. By refining my skills and implementing efficient strategies for handling
clothing, products, and merchandise, I am confident that I can elevate my productivity and
overall effectiveness in the workplace.
In addition, I recognize the significance of being aware of the latest fashion trends and
happenings. Such knowledge enables me to develop fresh and creative concepts and remain
competitive. I can guarantee I am ahead of the game by staying updated on the industry's
developments. Ultimately, I can complete my internship with flying colors and attain my
aspirations with unwavering commitment, diligence, and reliance on my faith. “Fashion@a breast

Conclusion
I am incredibly thankful for the excellent opportunity to acquire valuable practical
experience by participating in internships and other hands-on activities. It is truly enlightening to
have the chance to observe and study the current trends in evolving fashion.
