Summary
The book on the Great Commission to Worship: Biblical Principles for Worship-Based
Evangelism is an anthology that not only portray parallels through worship and evangelism but
also straightly interconnect them. The theory of Great Commission to worship: is that oftentimes
in the passage it seems God is constantly our reality of worship, the conception of receive
salvation (evangelism) appears to be the inspiration.1 From this assumption, the authors disperse
frequent mythologies about worship and evangelism all the while providing biblical
encouragement to enhance communicate on how worship and evangelism are conjoin. The focal
points moves to becoming a Great Commission worshiper, which is “a person who is so much in
love with Jesus, so committed to worship of Jesus, and so devoted to being obedient to every
command of Jesus that he simply cannot restrain himself from telling others about his incredible
relationship with the Son of God.”2 It is imperative to develop a structure for the Great
Commission worship that is impacted by the calling, ordeals, teachings, and freedom. The
structure should deliver worship that is formational, transformational, relational, missional, and
reproducible.3 Worship and evangelism can be more distant assessed established on the structure.
Strength of the Book
The book does an excellent job of describing worship and emphasizing the significance
of worship among our time. Also, the book goes on to say, “It is my opinion that God, in His
sovereignty, has chosen this generation as recipients of another Great Awakening.”4 I as well
understand the generation we are living in is powerful with their worship, but for some it is an
unclear view over have an ever-changing experience. The connection represented among

genuine, meek worship and evangelism is a dynamic one that at no time I thought of, but it really
does makes total sense. There are churches that should give attention to the association intending
to strike a worship from the believers to go about and spread joy of the good news to the world.
Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man”5—both of the authors gave
explanation to their turn of phrase because of a fearfulness for misunderstanding. Worship, even
so, should be the groundwork on how followers and evangelism are made; they both are hope,
but may be best acknowledge when worship is the starting point.
Weaknesses of the Book
I had a hard time with analyzing the book because I feel as though if there were strong
points in the book and scriptural proof that could have encouraged each of the bullet points
made. The book could have maybe profited from pragmatic way that churches can take in order
to stir up genuine worship within their walls. But this is a simple addition or follow up text, the
quality of the content in the book currently is beneficial and effective for the points it was
attempting to make. The beginning of the book expresses the “aim of this book is to help God’s
people reclaim their Great Commission calling to once again be like the early worshipers in Acts
17,”6 and they present a different thesis three pages later: “to address this most basic issue of
interpretation in reference to worship and evangelism and how they impact our obedience to the
Great Commission.”7 The authors define worship as “a lifestyle of walking in submission to God
and walking with God,” “an act of unbridled obedience even when rational explanations are hard
to find,”8 to “Love God,”9 and “the realistic reaction to the revelation of God.” Even though
worship may be all of those artifacts, it is hopeful to be useful to have a meaning that surround

all alternatively a different meaning for different separate standpoints. To relate their assumption
successfully, both of the authors must be in agreeable on the denotation. The aspiration of both
authors is to naturally combine worship and evangelism.
Quotes from the book
“As mentioned in the beginning, the notion of the book has occurred because of the
pressure that occur among the accepting to be a worshipper of Jesus Christ and in a way
that utterance is withstand as a contributor of the Great Commission.” (p. 7)10
oI love the connection represented among worship and evangelism. Many times
followers are unemotional while worshipping and seek for “thrill” over pure
humbleness. By yielding themselves to worship, the only answer is love and
heart to exalt the Father which is in heaven.
Evangelism should be a motivation that guides to worship, not merely a guidance in the
church house. It must be the catalyst that lighten an integrated way of worship. (p. 11)11
oThere is no way it can be done without the other! The reason being the love
we have for our Father we encounter while worshipping. We as Christian
believers should want to express the goodness of God. Catalyst is a good word
as worship kindles our passion for evangelism.12
“It is my belief that God, in His sovereignty, has selected this group of generation as
receiver of one more Great Awakening.” (p. 43)13
oI feel extremely confident about the generation now to worship. This 21st
century generation is ordain to worship and they were called by the Lord to
worship. Many of individuals criticize impressive hits and passionate songs of
solely pleasing our earthly feelings. In physical existence and real life
encounter, I believe this is an aid in establishing an embracing way for the
Spirit to lead and develop a realm of surrendering.
“In the bible Jeremiah surrendered himself to the mighty hand of God, and through his
times of worship, his life was shaped and fashioned.” (p.66)14
oI can respect the divine illustration of surrendering to the Lord during
worship. Even if you do not feel the urge to worship still do it. I sometimes
feel as though some people would be somewhat complacent if we did not have
to go out of our sanctuary in order to impact other individuals. But the
reaction need to be submission, surrendering and following that should be
evangelism.

“Our heart of worship should not shift us. It is during worship that the Spirit starts to
examine the bitterness, anger, self-glorifying attitudes, and the spirit of greediness in our
hearts.” (p.83)15
oWe have nix to do with the effects of worship. Rather it has the entirety to do
with the Spirits demeanor in the depths of surrendering. Our assignment is to
easily lay down our lives to worship and let the Spirit to empower us.
“For the purpose making this to occur, God purposefully position in our heart of each
individual an motivation or desire to pursue, know, understand, value, grasp, and love
Him.” (p.96)16
oAs contradictory to the flesh as it may seems, it is so relieving to love our
Father in total humbleness. It is in our nature to be in the image servant of
God and we will have a longing to be more our Father. We all must defeat our
flesh in order to be under the submission to the Father.
“Nonetheless, if both of the Old and New Testaments is to be construed in account of
God’s saving movement all through history, it then becomes God’s missioner chronology
to man, demonstrating how He has always been active in preparing His children into
missional efforts.” (p. 122)17
oOur mission is simply expressed in the Holy Bible but it is also articulated
throughout the Holy Bible. God remains to use people (His people) to
enhance and fulfill the world and our goal is the need to follow the
forgiveness of the humanity in order to receive his glory.
“People cannot be correctly skilled as followers of Christ but except for they are put into
life real circumstances that will oblige them to conquer your fears and urge to grow
spiritually.” (p.136)18
oI feel as though some churches need to try to do a much better job in this
area. Some churches doing great establishing and keeping a congregation,
but there is something missing within the churches. The church have to be
prepared or it will miss the main piece of what is needed for the church to
do and how to be prepared.
“Basically, genuine worshippers are consumed by being obedient rather than
task”(p.150)19
oWhen we surrender it leads us to total obedience that guides to bearing
much fruit for divine realm of God. If we choose to be submissive to the
God, every day we should sacrifice ourselves and take up the cross in
hopes of faithfully following God.

“The needs of the church—and seeking God—everyone wholly faithful to Him, full of
passion for God because of what Christ has done for us on the cross, converted by the
operating of the Spirit in our lives, and fervent determined by their worship to tell the
great news of Christ to all they meet.” (p.195)20
oThe quote contains the reason for the book which was a guide to help
inspire the people of God to worship with a humble spirit. When we
worship with a humbleness it lead to devoted evangelism. This book was
an impeccable way to sum up a nicely scripted edition talking about
worship and evangelism.
“Personal or ministry implications from the book”
The matter of evangelism is often time informed as an indication in lieu of a divine order.
oMy belief is that the church manage this matter as I stated above too
freely. In the same approach Baptism is a divine order for the people from
God, evangelism is an order our Father gave to His only Son name is Jesus
to motivate the sharing of faith. We have to treat this order by going into
the world, and sharing the grateful news of Christ.
Humility is main component in developing a prolific worship frame of mind.
oIf we do not surrender wholeheartedly, then our worship will not be
impactful. With this point relating to my life when I strengthen myself for
worship. I am a person who loves to worship (I am the lead worshipper at
our church) and there maybe times I do not feel what I am doing far as
worshipping bring about bearing fruit, but I know what I am doing brings
a humbleness to me. Genuine, humbleness of worship leads to conversion,
according to The Great Commission to Worship book, and in this
conversion, also this will better prepare me to assist others.
We must have a thriving doctrine in order to have healthful viewpoint on worship and
evangelism.
oThe above point made is important because one needs to be healthful and
made more frequently, not just about the subject. Theology is significant
and we as a whole must daily make time to read, study and learn the Holy
Bible and in order to establish a thriving theological viewpoint in order to
be strong Christian followers.
Passive followers is not an approach for development.
oMy focal point for the plans in my life is to modify my daily walk with
Christ. Our ministry take discipleship extremely passionately. Personal
development is influential but it is not the solely factor required for
thriving discipleship. In order to be a disciple, it means to learn and then
take the information you have learned to teach another so they can become
a follower of Christ.
