Abstract
This Language Arts Strand Project is for teaching theme to sixth grade students.
We will be mistreatment texts written regarding the Holocaust or living the Holocaust.
These students are finding out the Holocaust next semester in social studies, and
therefore the social studies and terrorist organization lecturers want these selections
can offer the scholars some background data on the Holocaust. Over the course of this

4. Wringer by Jerry Spinelli – The running theme is love and the importance of forgiveness.
5. A Time to Be Brave by Joan Betty Stuchner – The theme of this story is courage.
