DISPOSITION ASSIGNMENT 2
1. Displays a sense of Social responsibility and the belief that all students can learn.
In my classroom I understand that all students learn differently and I believe that I
display social responsibility by the acknowledgment of the different learning styles. I will treat
all of my students with respect and fairness. Making sure that all of my students are comfortable
in the classroom environment and have an understanding on how the grading system works is
something I will instill in them so that they know that grading is fair. Knowing the students
learning styles are important so that you can reach every students needs with different learning
instructions. Being empathetic and sensitive to my students by understanding their cultural
background. Really taking time to get to know my students is something that is important to me,
knowing when they are having good and bad days is helpful because their moods will change
and knowing how to cheer them up is a great skill to have as a teacher. The ways I will provide
opportunities and motivation for the students is always adding bonus questions and special “free
time” is another way to keep students motivated. Also knowing the students strengths and
weaknesses will help the teacher figure out what is motivating for the student. Structure is
something I will implement from the very beginning of the year. Students need structure in order
to have a quality education. Keeping a positive attitude and teaching style is also important for
the students learning. The positive teaching approach will make my students successful and
achieve their goals.

2. Demonstrates Commitment and Work ethic
Throughout this semester I believe that I really demonstrated commitment and work ethic
by always submitted my assignments on time and following all the rubrics. Having time
management and self discipline is an essential skill for online learners. As a preschool teacher I
am always prepared with my lesson plans and special activities ready for the students to do.
Attending meetings and seeking professional development opportunities is always good because
its important to continuing your education and constantly learning new effective strategies.
3. Demonstrates Reflective practice.
Throughout the semester we have had plenty of opportunities in the discussion posts to
reflect on educational matters. Being able to discuss ideas and strategies with peers is a great
learning experience. Being able to share strategies that have worked in the past and could be
helpful to another peer is something we are able to learn and share about on discussion forums.
Finding ways to improve teaching strategies and even effectiveness is something all of us as
educators should actively do.
4. Displays personal Integrity
During this semester I have shown integrity by following all rubrics, codes of the school,
and providing originality in all assignments. Being respectful to all my fellow classmates on
discussion forums, providing positive feedback and personal reflections. At work I treat every
child and faculty member with respect and professionalism. Keeping positive conversations
ONLY at the workplace and online forums including confidentiality is the type of integrity I hold
as an educator.

5. Displays Professionalism in behavior and actions
I have displayed professional behavior throughout the semester by interacting positively
in the discussion posts and throughout my writing. At work I display professionalism by always
dressing appropriately and collaborating with peers and colleagues to meet set goals. Always
having a positive attitude in and outside of the classroom will show students and faculty that you
love what you do. Having patience with students while maintaining composure is beneficial to
the student because they will be able to feel confident once they grasp the objective.
