What is the basis for reality? Does God exist?
Reality is God, the source and sustainer of all that exists. Reality is grounded in His eternal love, truth and creative power. through
both reason and divine revelation, the existence of God is revealed. God’s existence is affirmation through both revelation and reason.
All of creation points to His presence and purpose. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genises 1:1). God does
not only exist, but God is also the origin of all things and the foundation of reality. Believing in God gives meaning to existing and
guides human life towards the truth and eternal destiny.
What is the basis for truth?
The basis of truth is God Himself, he who is absolute, unchanging, an eternal. Truth is not just a concept but a person. Jesus Christ,
who said “I am y, and the truth, and the life” (john 14:6). God’s nature is truth- scientific, moral, or spiritual- finds its source in Him.
The church teaches both faith and reason lead to truth, since God is the creator of both. Scripture, tradition and the teaching of the
church guide us to understand and to live in that truth. “Truth ultimately sets us free” (john 8:32).
What values should anchor life decisions?

Life decisions should be anchored in values rooted in God’s truth and love. The most important value is love. “You shall love the lord
your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind… and your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39). There
are other important values ad they are truth, to live honestly, justice, to treat others with kindness and dignity, humility, remember the
need for God, courage, to do what is right even when it is hard, and faith, trust in God. These help us to choose rightly and live in
God’s will. These virtues lead us to holiness, purpose and peace, anchoring our lives in what is eternal and good in God’s eye.
What is the purpose for education, based on your answers to the first three questions?
The main purpose of education is to find truth, grow in virtue, and prepare the whole person to know, love, and serve God. Since God
is the foundation of reality and the source of all truth, education should help us understand His creation and our place in it. is shapes
the mind to reason rightly, the heart to choose good, and the soul to pursue holiness. Education forms character through values like
love, justice, and humility. As Proverbs 9:10 says “The fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom.” True education leads to both
knowledge and forever purpose.
