BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW PAPER ASSIGNMENT
2
A Biblical worldview is a kind of perspective in which a person is able to perceive the
universe, the world, and their own lives filtered by Christian beliefs and values. Biblical
worldviews are a “framework of assumptions about reality, all of which are in
submission to Christ” (Swezey, 2013, p. 232). Using Biblical worldviews, God shows the
basis for truth, values, and education including the main roles of the educator, school,
learner, curriculum, and methods of teaching. This kind of worldview is invented using
the framework, beliefs, and ideas in which a Christian individual or group illuminates and
interacts with the world. Our personal worldview shapes the physical, emotional,
intellectual, and spiritual dimensions of our lives. (Education & Worldview, 2021).

things and through whom we exist (1 Cor. 8:6) ESV. In the beginning was the Word, and
the Word was with God (John 1:1) In Genesis 1:1-31, God created the heaven and the
earth, darkness and light, day and night, the sky, dry ground, seas, trees, plants, fruit, the
sun, the moon, stars, sea creatures, birds, livestock, wild animals, and mankind. He
created mankind in his own image. If God did not exist, neither would man (Esqueda,
