Olmore, S. (2020). NAEYC Is Supporting Children's Development Around the World. YC Young
Children, 75(1), 6-7. https://go.openathens.net/redirector/liberty The main determinants
for education and development of children are their relationships and
interactions with old people . Similarly , children are capable of constructing
their comprehension of the environment in which they acquire knowledge
( NAEYC , 2009 ) . As an early childhood educator , I can implement this
guideline by ensuring that I understand every child well , as the priority when
handling them in class is paving the way for the establishment of good
relationships with them . Additionally , I would develop a good relationship
with their families to comprehend their needs , interests , aspirations , and
objectives properly .

development-around/docview/2374115173/se-2 This article focuses on how It is crucial
for NAEYC to work with, learn from, and support worldwide partners given its purpose
to encourage high-quality early learning for all children from birth to age 8 and the
wealth of research demonstrating how the formative years have an influence on all
aspects of lifetime development. According to Olmore (2020), As governments,
organizations, and practitioners from around the world expressed a growing interest in
harmonizing their early learning practices with NAEYC's position statements and
standards for early learning and teacher preparation, NAEYC's Global Engagement
department was established in 2014 (p. 1). When writing my essay, this article will enable

me to comprehend the quality of learning for all students far better. I'll utilize this article
to study how early development affects all other elements of life development. Global
involvement offers fresh opportunities for promoting the welfare and healthy
development of all children. The NAEYC has long been a pioneer in the provision of
resources for early childhood professionals and programs in the United States (Olmore,
2020).

This article focuses on how the DAP position statement includes a principle stating,
"Curricula and method of instruction build on each child's assets by connecting their
experiences in the school or learning environment to their home and community
settings." The sense of belonging, autonomy, and purpose that children have is
inextricably linked to their learning. Welcoming and learning from and about families is
important. This essay will support me in enhancing my knowledge of reflections on
Partnering with families and NAEYC position statements. This principle, which is based
on research literature, emphasizes the need to provide children with both physical and
psychological safety in order to build a sense of belonging. Children's experiences with
links to their home and neighborhood environments might be a potent sign that they are

safe in the early childhood environment (ONeil, 2022). Children need to feel some
form of safety and a sense of being.

This article focuses on how understanding the interplay between conventional child
development patterns, children's unique qualities, and their social and cultural
surroundings is essential for teaching young children. According to Thompson &
Ramirez (2021), The largest professional organization in the early education sector, the
National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), set out to define its
unique purpose and guiding principles. The position statement that resulted,
Developmentally Appropriate experience (DAP), provides much-needed advice to
professionals working with children up to the age of eight by drawing on decades of
research and experience in early care and education” (p. 1). NAEYC position statements
are important. These statements are placed for a better understanding of Developmentally
Appropriate procedures. This article will help me better understand what educators
already know about developmentally appropriate practices. When completing my
assignment, I will be able to apply all the information from this article to provide a better
view of developmentally appropriate practices.
