NEFF AND MCMINN REVIEW: PART B 2
Abstract
Embodying Integration: A Fresh Look at Christianity in the Therapy Room (2020) by Megan
Anna Neff and Mark McMinn explores various ideals on integrating Christianity and
psychology. This paper is a review covering chapters four through six, examining how the
perspective of atonement has an impact on clients, therapists' challenges in sharing and
integrating their faith, and locating God during uncertain times. The authors provide profitable
insights, real-world examples, and theological context that have allowed me to reflect on my
future as a counselor. However, the book did warrant a few criticisms although I gained much
from it.
