Audience analysis: My audience consists of two white college-aged women, all of
whom are college-educated. Who all are members of their local
Baptist church. Each is unemployed or in college.
Topic: The Physical Therapy vocation presents opportunities for
advancing the genral publics mental and physical helath..
General Goal: To inform the audience about the job field of Physical Therapy
Specific Goal: I want to inform my audience about the Physical Therapy
vocation and how it is an essential in our society because the
imact it has on individuals and their daily living. And use it as a
platform for promoting the physical, mental, emotional, and
spiritual well-being of everyone around us.
Introduction:
I. Get Attention
According to This article by the orthepedics and sports medicine, an Physical
Therapist provides a variety of benefits, including reduced pain, improved
function, increased range of motion, proper alignment and more.
The demand for Physical Therapists is growing rapidly because of the
improvement of healthcare and being able to reverse injuries or prevent even
surgery!
II. Establish Relevance
“Employment of physical therapists is projected to grow 17 percent
from 2021 to 2031, much faster than the average for all occupations.
About 15,400 openings for physical therapists are projected each year,
on average, over the decade”
III. Establish Credibility
I have gained credibile understanding an dknowledge on the Physical Therapy
profession through going through many years of therapy myself and showing
many different Physical therapy practices

If you are looking for a career opportunity that will be strenuous but
rewarding in not only helping people physically but helping them improve
their mental health, Physical Therapy in a hands on job field that could give
you an amazing mission field to take care of God’s creation.

II. Main Point 2. As America’s health care system grows and gains more
knowledge, so does the nation’s need for physical therapists.
A. Citing a variety of supportive studies, Summit Health wrote a imformitivve
artcial on the importance of this profession. “Physical therapists help people
live healthier, more active lives by providing rehabilitation services that
meet their specific needs. Physical therapy (PT) is a vital component in
preventive health care, and recovery encourages overall well-being and
reduces the risk of chronic disease”
B. 1. First, there is multiple types of physical therapy professions such
as: Pediatric physical therapy Geriatric physical therapy,
Orthopedic physical therapy, Cardiopulmonary physical

therapy, Vestibular rehabilitation, and Neurological physical
therapy
2. Second, some of the detailed benefits of physical therapy,
Anybody who has gone through an injury or has a type of physical
disability or limitation can benefit greatly from going to physical
therapy, as it supports the whole body healing itself through many
different corrective exercises. "People who have pain or issues
performing normal activities like walking or climbing stairs should seek
the advice of a physical therapist," Dr. Mitacchione notes. "Even those
who experience pain performing higher-level recreational activities or
sports should see a therapist before the issue worsens."
3. Third, “Working with a physical therapist for short term will not
only reduce pain, but it will also help improve overall strength and
ability and reduce the risk for injuries, helping you maintain a higher
quality of life.
4. .Fourth, This generation and society is growing fast and with more
and more ways to avoid such strenuous surgery’s. Physical therapy has
been seen to reverse injuries and to also prevent individuals frome
getting in some cases life altering surgery’s

III. Main Point 3. The Physical Therapy field is a great opertunite to minister to
the general public.
A. God shows in many aspects of his charater that he cares for his childrens
well-being and he knows the hearts of those who are going through
brokenness through their physical being.
B. God values our love for others (John 13:34–35; 15:12–17; Rom. 12:10;
16:16; 1 John 4:7-21) The Lord has called us to be caring and empathetic to
others and with this profession we can show love ot those by loving them
through healping them physically
C. Finally, God values our compassion for others, and this includes the poor
and oppressed and the sick (Matt. 25:31-46).1
Transition: This brings me to my conclusion.

Conclusion:
I. Summarize Your Thesis and Main Points
As we just discussed, Physically therapy is a lot of work but it is also very
rewarding in every aspect. Physical therapy is a highly demanded profession
as we can see by statistics and how it helps individuals. Furthering, This
profession is benefital for many reasons because it can improve a persons
quality of life and be able to become healthier mentally and physically.
II. End with a Clincher
Are you looking for a job in which you love health care and want to help
others? Are you also looking for a job that you can be rewarded every day by
seeing the progress of others? Are you looking for a job that can be a huge
ministry for others through developing personal relationships? If so, the
Physical Therapy profession might me for you!
