Two Ways Organizations Have Changed
The use of technology and contingent labor are two ways organizations have changed
throughout the years. Looking at digital technology and a business’s infrastructure has led to
irreversible changes (Cortellazzo et al., 2019). Technology is forever changing, and organizations
try to stay abreast of the latest and greatest. Technology affects labor because it can cause
companies to use fewer people and lower their overall costs. Contingent labor is a result of the
technology change, and it leads workers to have limited job security while payments for the work
is paid per task.
Technology
Digital transformation plays on the many platforms that get information from Big Data,
social media, Artificial intelligence (Harvard Business Review Analytic Services (2017). Surveys
show that respondents feel technology from a digital standpoint creates a positive environment
(European Commission (2017). In the last couple of years, digital technology has affected
