Operational Plan for an Online Dress Boutique
Legal Structure of the Boutique
The online dress boutique will be set up as a Limited Liability Company (LLC). This form
of business structure gives the members a layer of protection against personal liability for
business debts, which is a viable option to preserve personal property in case the business gets
involved in legal and financial difficulties. As a flexible business type, an LLC organization allows
for pass-through tax for its members and a more efficient way of filing tax returns, along with
profits and losses allocated to the boutique at the same time. This would help the online dress
boutique achieve its purposes as it balances corporate formalities to be observed with the
freedom of managing the business. Also, the supply channel of the online and physical dress

stores could easily be integrated due to the business type, which helps the company plan
logistics while observing a flat organizational structure (Song et al., 2020).
Leadership Operating Structure
The online dress boutique will have a leadership operating structure that promotes
knowledge sharing through its people, leading to better employee productivity. The proposed
leadership style for the online dress boutique is transformational. Transformational leadership is
characterized by the innovation it brings to the workplace and the encouragement for
employees to share ideas and information with each other to increase productivity (Judijanto et
al., 2024).
The CEO will oversee the boutique’s operations. The COO will be hired in order to better
manage the logistics and operations of the clothing store, as they promote faster and more
efficient decision making. The marketing for the firm will be overseen by the CMO to drive
interest and sales through digital mediums. The leadership operating structure promotes a
learning climate that will induce successful outcomes, flexibility among its employees, and a
competitive edge in a rapidly changing environment such as the online dress boutique
(Judijanto et al., 2024).
Additionally, the leadership framework closely supports the boutique’s mission of
delivering high-quality offerings and remarkable customer satisfaction while ensuring strategic
growth. The boutique adopts transformational leadership style which inspires innovation and
agility highly vital in responding to the rapidly changing online retail context. A strong focus on
knowledge sharing between executives specially the CEO and COO will allow them to consider
more cohesive decision-making and alignment between departments, hugely significant in
fulfilling targets and long-term business goals. The department of the chief marketing officer
undertakes distinct marketing campaigns in the marketplace directly contributes to the strategic
goal of creating a strong brand in a competitive setting. This harmonious aim is highly significant
not only in strengthening the commitment of the boutique on its mission but in highlighting its

strategic objectives of staying agile and responsive to market demands into which contributes
ultimately to its competitive advantage (Ref-s743643; Ref-s861527).
Human Resource Structure
The human resource strategy for the online dress store is designed to have strategic
recruitment and clearly provide employee roles that are necessary to fulfil the operational plan
of the store. Skilled human resources will be recruited using the appropriate strategies focusing
on their experiences with e-commerce and needs determination that resonates with the core
principles of the store such as quality, consumer satisfaction etc. This is connected with the
operational plan since supply chains will be functioning together, enabling the knowledge
workers in supporting the management of online supply and traditional outlets (Song et al.,
2020). The employee roles in the store should be clearly defined. For example, an inventory
manager will have the responsibility to manage stock and human resources such as customer
service representatives will constantly interact with the clients to answer questions and boost
the consumer satisfaction. Furthermore, the employee design of the online dress store will
include a flexible work environment for the team which inspires innovation and adaptation to
situations and respond to consumers in a competitive online space. The strategic design of the
human resource aims to support the operational plan and overall mission and vision of the
store, ensuring success in the long run through knowledgeable employee pool.
Furthermore, the contribution of human resource planning to aligning the online dress
boutique’s workforce with strategic business objectives is essential for ensuring operational
efficiency. It allows for defining the expected staffing levels and establishing recruitment
mechanisms to achieve alignment between workforce capabilities and the business needs.
Through identifying the potential skills gaps, human resource planning can provide key insights
on the targeted training initiatives to enrich the talent pool and promote a learning-oriented
culture in the organization. Such strategies are critical for maintaining a flexible workforce that
can readily adopt to the changes in technological advances and market conditions. Human

resource planning also helps to maintain optimal staffing levels that promote efficient and
productive operations while minimizing labor costs and employee turnover.
Physical Environment Description
The work environment that characterizes the online dress boutique's physical location is
optimized for technological systems and workspace organization. It integrates a strong IT
framework that is interconnected with supply chain processes to enable effective inventory
control and customer service delivery. The workspace is organized to enhance collaboration and
creativity through open-plan offices with interactions among the employees and quiet working
areas. Besides the physical work environment, the online dress boutique employs virtual
workplaces through the use of digital platforms that promote internal communications and
remote working options (Wood et al., 2020). Such a virtual work set-up enhances the
operational activities of the online fashion retail business. Overall, the combination of work
physical and virtual workplace environments complements its agile business objectives.
