Introduction
This Montview baseball stadium project being planned and considered by the G&E
Company anticipates completion in order to be used for the 2024 season. For this reason, the
target April 3 deadline is very critical and will be a very important factor to be considered in the
rd
planning and final decision on the project bid. With an eye on future potential opportunities for
his company, the president Percival Young is very hopeful for G&E’s bid to be accepted for this
project as it would provide potential future projects of classic ball parts with modern luxury
boxes. However, the most important thing will be whether or not Young’s company is able to
meet the requirements of the project while ensuring profitability for his company. The analysis
provided in this paper will explore that using a network schedule and especially the critical path.
Will the project be able to be completed by the April 3 deadline? How long will it take?

How many working days are projected?
When holidays and holiday observations are incorporated into the timeline of the project,
the baseball stadium construction is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2020 and finalize on May 6,
2024 after passing final inspections. This completion date obviously falls far outside of the
desired April 3 deadline. The number of working days that this project will require is 975 days,
however, when factoring in the holidays and holiday observations, the total length of the project
excluding weekends will be 1,004 days – this represents an overage of 29 days, nearly a month,
