Learning Project: Company Analysis and Evaluation
The company that will be discussed in this paper is Drive Bar. Drive Bar is a new veteran-owned
small business in Hogansville, GA that is the combination of a beer garden and a golf driving
range. It is owned by Christopher Chapman, along with four silent partners who are investors. It
is like a global brand, Topgolf, but is a subsidy company of this industry giant because they lease
their technology on a monthly basis. This company was chosen because it is a new business, only
being open about two months, and it is a great time to do an analysis on this company to see
where their strengths and weaknesses are and to see if they are meeting or even aware of their
critical success factors. After speaking with the owner, he sees that the business is on a good path
forward in the first few months of being open but also sees that there is room to grow. He
understands that there are certain critical success factors that need to be achieved in order to take
this business to the next level. This analysis will give him a good starting point on things that are
being done effectively in the early stages of development as well as things that can be improved
upon in both the short term and long term.
