Introduction
In this final installment of our marketing management individual projects, we will discuss
and provide five strategic (long-term) recommendations and five operational (short-term)
recommendations that 1st Phorm could take with their marketing strategy.
1.
Strategic Recommendation for:
Module 2: Discover Marketing Management.
Q2. Explain the organization's current or possible global marketing efforts.
I would recommend that 1st Phom take a deep look into its corporate social
responsibilities (CSR). (Viswanathan et al., 2025) As the world becomes smaller due to the
internet and its farreaching abilities, companies will need to consider how they are perceived
socially, both domestically and globally, as their customers' perspective of them will influence
their decisions to purchase their products and services or not. (Viswanathan et al., 2025) From
a customer's perspective, if 1st Phorm continually produces quality goods that provide good

value for what is being purchased, its social score will continue to rise. It will be able to remain
at the top of the industry.
“A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver and
gold.”
(NIV, 2011, Proverbs 22:1)
When a company is recognized by its name, accompanied by comments about its good
reputation for ethics and quality products, its value exceeds the monetary value apparent from
the outside. A good name in business will help to produce a more substantial customer base,
which will enable growth across the board.
Operational Recommendation for:
Module 2: Discover Marketing Management.
Q2. Explain the organization's current or possible global marketing efforts.
Even in today’s digital age, word of mouth is still one of the best and most efficient ways
to communicate. I would recommend that 1st Phorm continue down the path of digital
marketing they are on, but also maintain a solid word of mouth campaign to help ensure local
growth as word of mouth helps to develop and maintain trust and transparency, which
customers look for with companies. (Fitzgerald, 2017)
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your work will be established.” (NIV, 2011, Proverbs 16:3)
Your reputation will follow you wherever you go, and so will your work ethic. As
information is passed on by word of mouth, people will describe what you have done in either a
negative or positive light. When you work within the light of the Lord and are committed to his

plan, people will see this and comment, which helps you grow both spiritually and
professionally.
2.
Strategic Recommendation for:
Module 3: Use Information to Drive Marketing Decisions.
Q3. Discuss the aspects of the organization’s customer relationship management (CRM)
program.
For 1st Phorm to maintain a strong competitive advantage in a market saturated with
numerous products and lines claiming to be the best, an area for continual improvement is
customer relationship management. 1st Phorm is known for its unwavering dedication towards
integrity. Their customers highly value them because they are incredibly transparent about the
ingredients they use, their sourcing, and product manufacturing processes. (Team, 2025) When
a company adopts a customer-centric approach to CRM, ensuring their customers' needs are
met and/or exceeded, long-term relationships are fostered, which then provides even more
room for growth and expansion. (Obaid & Nelson, 2023)
“But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.” (NIV, 2011, 1 Corinthians 14:40)
This verse holds to the premise behind customer relationship management. If you
conduct your business in such a manner, your customers will feel that they are valued. This
feeling of value can lead to a deep feeling of loyalty. Loyalty breeds growth and strength
between the customer and the business.

Q3. Discuss the aspects of the organization’s customer relationship management (CRM)
program.
A study revealed that approximately 60% of CRM initiatives fail. To address these
deficiencies, companies should break down larger projects into smaller, more manageable ones.
(Sutton, 2002) My recommendation for 1st Phorm is that, as they grow their business endeavors
within the energy drink world (Anheuser-Busch, 2025), they should break down some of their
larger projects into smaller ones to maintain a strong connection with their customers. This
would keep them connected to their base, enabling them to support and meet customers'
requirements.
“For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisors.” (NIV, 2011,
Proverbs 11:14)
This verse is relevant because of the underlying meaning; when you take on too much,
you will struggle or fail. However, when you break your work down, you can attack equally on
all fronts, meaning you can use knowledge from many other sources to help complete the task.
3.
Strategic Recommendation for:
Module 5: Develop the Value Offering--the Product Experience.
Q5. Discuss organizational efforts at customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
Continue on the path that has led to their success. Their customer-first commitment
defines the heart of their business model. It is this commitment that builds up the relationship

they have forged with their followers. (Team, 2025) They should build upon this commitment, as
their customers will feel valued and supported throughout their fitness journey.
“Do not steal. Do not lie. Do not Deceive one another.” (NIV, 2011, Leviticus 19:11)
Loyalty is earned through trust; trust is earned through actions. When a company acts
deceitfully, customers will not trust it. By remaining accurate, open, and honest about your
products and services, and by maintaining reasonable prices, customers will remain loyal.
Setting obtainable goals and being upfront about them will help build a strong reputation and
foster customer loyalty, both current and future.
Operational Recommendation for:
Module 5: Develop the Value Offering--the Product Experience.
Q5. Discuss organizational efforts at customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
As with the strategic recommendation, 1st Phorm should maintain its current course
when it comes to customer-centric values and loyalty. This approach has led to an incredibly
loyal fan base, with people across multiple walks of life and fitness desires proudly representing
them and the lifestyle they promote. (Team, 2025) Suppose they can continually improve and
remain engaged in this way. In that case, they will easily continue to build and cultivate a
motivated and engaged base, which will ultimately lead to sustained growth.
“Do you now know that in a race all runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way
as to get the prize.” (2011, NIV, 1 Corinthians 9:24)
This verse highlights that when you work towards a goal, stay focused and you will
obtain it. If the goal of 1st Phorm is to be the best supplement and nutrition company on the

market, they should continue to run the race in such a way that they are running to win the
prize. By prioritizing their customers, they will win the race.
4.
Strategic Recommendation for:
Module 6: Price and Deliver the Value Offering
Q3. Explain the channels of distribution (manufacturer to retailer to customer, etc.) used to
distribute the product/service.
My biggest recommendation comes from a personal level. When it comes to
manufacturing their product, I would like to see artificial sweeteners (Zucker, 2024) removed
from their products and for them to manufacture their products on their site, instead of a third
party. This would improve the overall quality of their products and improve the taste. By
removing artificial sweeteners and taking over their manufacturing, they would be able to
eliminate the “middle-man” in the distribution process. They could then take full control of the
manufacturer-to-customer relationship.
“Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.”
(NIV,2011,
Ecclesiastes 11:4)
Sometimes action is required even if you think it might not work out. Being prepared
helps set you up for success; having faith in God that his plans for you will benefit you is how

you are rewarded. When you plan for the harvest even when it seems like it will not rain, you
will be rewarded when it does. God has a plan for us, we must trust in His plan.

Module 6: Price and Deliver the Value Offering
Q3. Explain the channels of distribution (manufacturer to retailer to customer, etc.) used to
distribute the product/service.
As a long-term solution is worked on where manufacturing can be obtained within the
walls of 1st Phorm's facility, the best course of action would be to continue the use of a third
party. To expedite distribution between the manufacturer and the customer, allowing additional
third-party shipping systems would be beneficial. With Amazon's reach and availability, utilizing
them as a vendor would help with this distribution. Utilizing the fulfillment service (Jackson,
2024) that Amazon provides would allow the 1st Phorm to streamline customers' orders. The
downside to this endeavor is that Amazon charges a 1-2% fee for distribution; however, this is a
small price to pay for ensuring customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
“What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?” (NIV, 2011, Mark
8:36)
If providing great customer service comes at a small cost, it is worth it. Taking acre of
your customer will pay off in the long run. Building a reputation for exceptional service and
products can help propel a company above the rest.

Module 7: Communicate Value Offering and Class-Wide Marketing Discussion
Q3. Discuss the organization’s use of sales promotions, public relations, live events, publicity,
or personal selling.
Aligning yourself with the right people and or companies will help to push your brand
even further. 1st Phorm has achieved this by forming a partnership with Anheuser-Busch and
the UFC, bringing together all three companies in the energy drink market and launching Phorm
Energy (Siddiqi, 2025). By leveraging the UFC's platform and Anheuser-Busch's name
recognition, marketing a new energy drink brand should be both extensive and engaging. My
recommendation would be to capitalize on the name/brand recognition from the UFC and
Anheuser-Busch by attaching Phorm to their marketing promotions. Given the number of live
events the UFC produces and Anheuser-Busch's extensive reach in the sporting world, the
publicity generated will be off the charts. This publicity will enable 1st Phorm to expand its
name recognition, which will bring its products to new customers around the world.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls
down, one can help the other up>” (NIC, 2011, Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
This verse illustrates the benefits of having a partner to support and uplift each other in
times of need. From a business perspective, having partners who can uplift you during tough
times is invaluable. Surrounding yourself with like-minded people who understand that
teamwork is key to success provides you with the space you need to grow and thrive.

Q3. Discuss the organization’s use of sales promotions, public relations, live events, publicity,
or personal selling.
One recommendation I would make to them to assist in the short term is for 1st Phorm
to add more live events and promotions. This could be accomplished via their social media
pages, for example, they could utilize Facebook Live to promote an event and showcase their
products. This would provide current and new customers the opportunity to see products,
interact with each other, and engage with the team. These short-term productions and
promotions could boost awareness of specific items and/or new products. They could also
assist in recapturing the attention of past products that have slipped in popularity but are still
considered part of the main production line.
“All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” (NIV, 2011, Proverbs 14:23)
Talk is cheap, and nothing ever comes of just talking about something. Putting in the
effort and hard work will pay off. Simply stating your best without actively promoting your brand
or company will not lead to success. By letting your customers stay engaged and involved in
some of your processes, you can ensure that the work you put in pays off in the long run.
