1. We all have had random experiences working in groups both good and bad. We all have
different personality types with different annoyances. We all have read each other’s
annoyances and will try to avoid those triggers if possible.
2. We all acknowledge that group members are in different time zones and because of that, the
consensus is to allow a 24-hour response time for group discussion. Each member will check the
group discussion board twice a day at a minimum each day of the week. We will use conference
calls and group text to communicate urgent matters and notify the group that new information
has been posted to the group discussion board. We agree not getting alerts from the group
discussion board slows down progress so the use of group text should prevent this.
3. Behaviors that will lead to successful completion of the project are open communication,
timeliness, being on the same page and having a clear understanding of the assignment. We
will all have our own obligations to the group/assignment, but if something is unclear or
difficult, open communication and being supportive will ensure success. Selfish behavior and
everyone not doing his or her part will threaten the outcome of the project and its completion. If
someone does not complete his/her assigned parts of the group project, it will threaten the
project’s completion for us all. The quantity and the quality of each members’ effort should be
described and critiqued honestly. It should be evaluated based on the grading criteria for this
assignment. We decided that we will discuss all issues and come up with a solution as a group.
4. Circumstances that are present in our lives are single parents, full time jobs, going on ships,
chronic illnesses, taking multiple classes, active family, newborn kids and language barriers.
Our definition of flexibility means patience. We expect to be held to the same standards as
everyone else, but I do request patience when one of the above circumstances arises. We are a
group; therefore, we will help each other out if someone needs it so we as a group do not
suffer. If someone encounters a major problem it should be communicated to the group on the
discussion board as well as through group text.
5. All work submitted to the group should be done at MBA writing level. If everyone submits
their individual work at MBA writing level, then the group leader (or whoever complies all
individual work) doesn’t have to do as much work later compiling all the individual work for
the final group submission. The goal for the final grade for the group project is an A, I see no
reason to shoot for anything less. If we do the bare minimum to pass then we run the risk of
failing and that should not be an option. We want to be known as the best Group 3 that Liberty
University has ever had.
6. Being timely means being on time, however, as it pertains to online group work, ‘on
time’ means early. It is important to keep in mind the grades of others are dependent upon
our individual commitment and performance.
7. The expectations for the final submission of the group project is to contain all requested
information so we can get the grade we all would like. The goal is to submit our project early in
an effort to have a chance to make any changes before final submission. Final submission will
be 2 days before the final deadline. This would make final submission for the group
Wednesday by 11:59 p.m. Every student will reply “I approve”, to the final submission.
8. Group disagreements will be resolved through discussion and voting on items that can’t be
resolved through dialogue. We should use the majority rules in the result of a disagreement.
All issues or conflicts should immediately be resolve to keep the group positive and moving in
the right direction.
