1) Which if any of the resources are overallocated?
a. Marketing Specialist, Design Engineer, Industrial Engineer resources
are overallocated.
2) Assume that the project is time constrained and try to resolve any
overallocation problems by leveling within slack. What happens?
a. Leveling within slack helped with overallocation but did not totally fix
the issues. Detailed Marketing Plan(6) and Detailed Product Design(8)
were fixed with leveling within slack but other overallocation issues
still exist.
i. Manufacturing Study(4) total slack decreased from 10 Days to 0
Days.
ii. Detailed Marketing Plan(6) total slack decreased from 179 Days
to 134 Days.
iii. Manufacturing Process(7) total slack decreased from 55 Days to
0 Days.
iv. Lab Test Prototypes(8) total slack decreased from 5 Days to 0
Days.
v. Order Components(14) total slack showed no change from 27
Days.
