1. What do you think Jonah should do?
A: I think Maria should weigh all options and discuss them with her supervisor before
proceeding. Maria should the non-personnel expenses look at to determine much that how of
$120,000 could be eliminated. Then, she can look at restructuring the schedules/hours for the
three employees to prevent any layoffs. she cannot If be lexible with scheduling/hours, then my
recommendation would be to view each employees’ performance objectively and make her
decision based the facts and not on on any personal situations she is aware of that are not work-
related.
A: The holiness-justice-love model provides that three must all be taken into consideration when
making decisions. One cannot stand without the others, much like a three-legged stool. Holiness
provides the core strength, justice provides balance, and love provides warmth.
A: In my opinion, love the most dificult is to apply in Maria’s situation. She wants to consider the
needs the employees, and noted the text that Barb struggling of it is in is as a single parent.
Applying love may make Maria favor keeping Barb, even if she is not the strongest employee for
the team. I honestly think all three are lacking in the workplace, but I would say justice may be
most lacking because not all companies want to weigh out situations and determine the right
thing to do. Many want to jump to conclusions and make snap decisions in the name of fairness
and often the guilty go unpunished. I think most businesses have a core strength about them that
they nurture, and most organizations possess a certain level of warmth with regards to
employees, but not all of them ind the right balance in dealing with employees and employee
A: Jonah expressed concern to his teammates and not his supervisor. His teammates cannot
change his assignment, but perhaps his supervisor could if it makes Jonah that uncomfortable
