Employee burnout and its effect on job satisfaction and talent attrition. (Systems
Technology Forum and the Ship Repair/Alteration Industry)
The topic of this paper is Employee Burnout and the follow on damaging effects there of
on job satisfaction and the turnover rate. Through my employment in a few different positions at
a few different companies, it’s been my experience that this problem effects nearly the entire
local industry. This problem also exhibits a concise relevance to my specific demographic (age)
and career level. My current organization has not been immune from this industry wide problem.
