Thesis The Roman Chapters 1-8 will analysis the interest of the natural world, human
identity, human relationships, and culture. We all commit sins and there are sins to this
day that are being committed that the Romans did back in Paul’s day. Our worldview
comes from two different directions; God’s truth and the Holy Bible. Our beliefs are
shaped through these views and they are very important. From faith we can achieve
anything in life, which I think some fail to believe. I don’t think that anyone will just
wake up one day and start believing in God, but reading the Bible is a great way to start
heading down that path.
The Natural World
When it comes to my view on the natural world my opinions are very strong.
Sadly back in the Roman days they achieved every sin possible in the book and in this
world we live in it’s constantly consisting of murder and sin. In all honestly I don’t even
know what is provoking people to commit these sins. Is it the media, the internet, or even
the people they associate with? When the Romans conquered countries they would take
their Gods, which signified them worshiping Gods. This was done solely to gain the trust
of the people of the countries they conquered.
Human Identity
Paul said that when it came to the saved and unsaved the Gentiles and the Jews
had different views. The Jews had a law to follow while the Gentiles didn’t. They are all
condemned no matter what making the Jews have a stronger condemnation because of
them having the law. Because of this the Jews were held at a higher standing than the
Gentiles. We as people, and I have this point of view sometimes, think that just because
we are nice and friendly and help others at times that we will go to heaven and not hell.
That is not true, and we have to change our view of thinking. God loves us no matter
what and we will forgive us for our sins but he will also place himself separate from the
sin.
Human Relationships
As humans it is very hard for us to not deal with people in our every life doings,
whether it be talking to the person at the gas pump next to us or ordering from a fast food
restaurant in their drive through. We are meant to interact with people meaning we need
to watch for our sins and failures. Because we still can sin we have to keep a relationship
with God still because his faith is important. We are all doomed no matter what we do in
life because we are all prone to sin one way or another. Some sin by using curse words
while others don’t see that as a sin and think that murder is a sin. Not matter the level of
sin or failure without faith in God we are unsaved.
Culture
From building relationships with people we meet people of all different cultures.
Due to the relationships we make it has a huge role in God’s plan. Once conquered
Caesar declared himself a God. This goes in hand with my worldview because what
Caesar did was ungodly. Through faith in Jesus Christ we will find our way to
righteousness. Through that there is hope but sadly my worldview will still remain the

same. We can do everything in life to try and make it to heaven and to please God and
worship him but sometimes in his eyes we will always fall short of his faith in us.
Conclusion
In conclusion I believe that we must all live the life that God is telling us to live. He leads
us the way to hope and we must follow that path. Back in the Roman days people lived in
fear and in sin. They thought to themselves whether or not their actions were good and if
they were in good standing with Jesus Christ. By conquering many different countries
they were able to worship many Gods. We still live that way today, even though we are
not conquering different countries. We still live in the mindset of we can go to heaven if
we do this or that and own our own terms. We still believe that righteousness can be
achieved through our own actions and terms when in reality it can’t.
