As I watched Rhett Trujillo’s lecture I was expecting a lot more out of it. I thought because his first few statements
were “I'm going to try to make this lecture interesting…” it was quite the opposite. Though I learned some new
information, I was expecting a lot more than what was given to me. Trujillo had a lot of questions throughout his lecture
that I found good to know. Some of those questions where what come to mind when we say, entrepreneur? When I think of
entrepreneur I think of innovation or the TV show shark tank. What is a non-profit, and can they make a profit? A non-
profit could be a charity or business that can’t make any profit of their earnings. No non-profit can make money, though
they do have the honor of doing more paperwork than a Traditional entrepreneurship. When you break down
entrepreneurship you have to think of the three different types of entrepreneurship. Those consist of Traditional, social,
and “intra” preneurship. Traditional entrepreneurship is a business that is received profit, Social entrepreneurship can
either be not or for profit, and “intra” preneurship is a corporation. Before I started the lecture, I was expecting different
ways to think outside the box, but I wasn’t expecting Trujillo to provide different places on campus that we could talk to
people about are inventions in a way you could say that I was surprised. The biggest take away I got from this lecture was
where I could go to tell people about my ideas and innovations. To sum up the entire lecture, Rhett Trujillo taught me the
different types of Entrepreneurship and what they stand for. He also taught me that you don’t have to be a genius to come
up with a good idea. All you have to do is work hard and put your all into whatever you want.
