First Reflection: Your Writing Journey Begins
My writing experience has been limited. I've just learned the fundamentals of writing, such as how
to put words together, how to make paragraphs out of sentences, and so on.
I've struggled with composition and linguistics ever since I was a child. I believe that my past writing
habits have contributed majorly to this predicament. As an elementary and middle schooler, I used
to despise writing assignments and used to procrastinate to an extent where I was almost afraid of
writing. This fear grew and soon it became almost second nature to me. I’d take this opportunity to
express my gratitude towards my mother and my middle school English teacher who realized I
needed help and exercised utmost patience to make me the writer I am today.
